Terra Saltzman-Baker, Director, MBA/Masters Career Connections
Terra Saltzman-Baker joined the Rady School of Management team as Director, MBA Career Connections in December 2013. In this role, she will continue to build upon existing corporate relationships, strategize new partnerships, create and execute on Rady recruiting activities - all to increase the visibility of Rady students for internship and full time opportunities and work with Rady alumni on career transitions.
Terra’s background includes nearly five years as the Corporate Relations Manager with the University of San Diego’s MBA program. The position was cultivated by her connections and efforts to distinguish the USD MBA and increase program reputation at a local and national level. This was achieved through targeted outreach and creative corporate partnerships. The foundation of her experience developed from five years of recruiting in San Diego for finance and accounting positions with nationally-based staffing firm Ajilon and two years of nation-wide recruiting in corporate retail with Marc-Allen Associates.
Stephanie Boomhower, Career Development Advisor
Stephanie Boomhower joined the Rady School of Management in April 2006 as the Career Development Adviser. She coaches MBA students, both one-on-one and in small groups, on how to navigate through the internship and career-search process — from developing a focused career to negotiating salaries. In addition to coaching, she organizes a Careers deep-dive during orientation, Rady @ Work group sessions, alumni mock interviews and various other career-search programs to help MBAs explore the marketplace. She is the point person for all international MBAs as they navigate the hiring process with employers.
Prior to her position at Rady, Stephanie was the Associate Director of Career Services at the University of San Diego School of Law, where she advised students and coordinated on-campus interview programs. Stephanie and her husband started their own business in 2002 working with churches and nonprofits in the areas of construction and facilities management. Prior to moving to San Diego, she completed an M.S. in College Student Personnel and a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Architecture from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Stephanie spent the majority of her childhood living in Asia and various cities throughout the U.S.
Chris Kelly, Careers Program Manager

Chris has lived and worked in over 30 countries across Europe, South America and Asia. Prior to joining the Career Connections team, she performed project-management work in the Middle East with a focus on business development. Chris attended the University of California, Berkeley.
Amy Nastase, Careers Assistant

She assists employers with posting jobs and internships on HireRadyMBA, as well as inviting them to meet students at Rady’s Meet the Firms and Inspiration & Innovation events. Amy is an additional resource for the international students at Rady support in their career development and job and internship searches. She helps arrange logistics for career events, as well as develop new programming, particularly for the international students.
Before coming to Rady, Amy taught English in South Korea and organized logistics for leadership conference of high school students in Washington, D.C.
