Change Management: Overcome resistance and make change happen—fast
Change is the mantra of our age, yet human nature leads us to prefer doing things the same old way. Persuasion is often the tool we turn to, but persuasion only addresses the logical aspects of change—that a new process will allow you to perform your job better. Persuasion fails to speak to negative emotions people have about doing something new.
Understanding people’s thoughts and feelings as they go through the five stages of the change process along the “J-Curve” will help you overcome human resistance to change, accelerate implementation and enjoy the benefits. Learn the important components of activation, including simplifying change through small feasible steps and involving others in shaping change. Discover the negative consequences of talking in generalities.
You will walk away with practical action plans to activate your organization. Successfully implement change by learning how to help people embrace new ways of doing things.
