Rady School of Management, UC San Diego

Support Students

“San Diego is a research town. We need leaders for technology companies who are bilingual — that is, trained in business as well as science. I am confident that my investment in the Rady School is helping to develop this type of leader.” — Julia R. Brown, former executive vice president of Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc., former adviser to the CEO of Amylin

To compete with top business schools for exceptional candidates, the Rady School must be able to offer financial support to a diverse student population. San Diego is a desirable location, yet many students cannot afford to live here while attending school full time. When other campuses offer substantial assistance to applicants, UC San Diego loses them. This lack of funding is even more challenging for the entrepreneurial MBA student with non-traditional career goals, such as involvement in a startup —  the very student that the Rady School was designed to cultivate. Your support of student fellowships and initiatives will help the Rady School continue to attract leading student scholars.

Current and Endowed Fellowships

Current fellowships are outright gifts used immediately to assist economically disadvantaged candidates in easing the burden of paying for their MBA. In choosing to support current fellowships, donors may wish to make a one-time gift in any amount or commit to annual contributions over time. Current fellowship funds may be named in honor of the donor or in memory of a loved one with a minimum contribution of $5,000. A gift of any size can make a positive impact in the lives of Rady School students ... Give Now

Endowed fellowships are permanent funds that earn annual interest income. Each year, this income is used to support exceptional scholars in their MBA program — a worthy reward for a dedicated business student. Since the principal is never expended, the endowment remains in perpetuity. Individuals and benefactors have the opportunity to name the endowment as a legacy to the donor or in honor of a loved one. Please contact us at 858.822.0370 to learn more about supporting Rady School students with an endowed fellowship.
