MGT166 - Business Ethics & Corporate Responsibility

Course Description

Prerequisites: Upper Division Standing

This course covers a wide range of ethical issues both from the general area of proper behavior of managers and executives of large and small organizations as well as the wide range of specific issues with certain product and service areas from biotechnology research to philanthropic endeavors. The subject of what responsibility organizations have to the social and environmental interests of the community is also covered in some detail. Students will learn how to think creatively and conduct full cycle analysis for environmentally sensitive issues such as recycling and alternative fuels.
